رشته فلسفه در ابتدا در دارالمعلمين عالي به همراه رشته هاي ادبيات فارسي و ادبيات عرب به سال 1296 تاسيس شد و از سال 1307 شروع به فعاليت نمود .
پس از تاسيس دانشكدة ادبيات در سال 1313 تحت عنوان فلسفه علوم تربيتي و روانشناسي اقدام به پذيرش دانشجو نموده و در سال 1343 رشته هاي علوم تربيتي و روانشناسي از فلسفه جدا شد .
تحصيلات تكميلي اين گروه از سال 1336 آغاز به فعاليت نموده است و تا كنون حدود 250 عنوان رسالة در مقاطع دكتري و كارشناسي ارشد در موضوعات فلسفة غرب و فلسفه تطبيقي ( تطبيق ميان فلسفة غرب و اسلامي ) در اين گروه دفاع شده است .
تا كنون حدود 110 جلد كتاب توسط اساتيد محترم اين گروه ترجمه و تاليف شده است .
گروه فلسفه داراي كتابخانه تخصصي است كه حدود 6000جلد كتاب فارسي ، انگليسي ، فرانسه ، عربي و آلماني براي استفاده اساتيد و دانشجويان موجود است . لازم به ذكر است كه بيش از نيمي از كتابهاي گروه اهدايي آقايان جناب آقاي دكتر سيد يحيي مهدوي و جناب آقاي منوچهر بزرگمهر است كه بيشتر نيازهاي دانشجويان و اساتيد محترم گروه را تامين مي نمايد .

Japan Society for Fuzzy Theory and Systems (SOFT)

In 1985, the Group constituted itself as the European Chapter of IFSA. It was chaired by Christer Carlsson [1979-1986], Marc Roubens [1986-1993] and Hans Hellendoorn [1993-1998]. From 1998, Bernard De Baets and J�nos Fodor coordinate the working group called EUROFUSE and it does not represent the European Chapter of IFSA any more.
